Dead By Sunrise Debut Album out this Autumn

Chester BenningtonChester Bennington will be a busy man this autumn as he continues to work on Linkin Park’s fourth studio album, and also looks to promote the Dead By Sunrise debut album. After many delays, Dead By Sunrise will finally release its debut album ‘Out of Ashes’ in September, and the album is all set to feature a total of 10 tracks.

Chester Bennington wrote these tracks whilst working on the follow-up to Linkin Park’s ‘Minutes to Midnight’ album, and realising that they weren’t right for the band; decided to use them in a side project rather than drastically altering them for inclusion on the fourth Linkin Park studio album.

Bennington is joined by members of Orgy/Julien-K on the ‘Out of Ashes’ album, and for Chester Bennington fans wanting to hear him doing something a little different, this album should definitely impress. It’s always nice to hear artist’s branching out and trying different things, and that’s exactly what Chester Bennington is doing with Dead By Sunrise.

If you’d like to take a listen to the music of Dead By Sunrise, the track ‘Morning After’ is currently available for streaming at the Dead By Runrise MySpace page .

Nine Inch Nails will later this year play a number of live shows, and Trent Reznor has announced that these will be the last the band will ever play.

The band will be performing in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as headlining the Virgin Festival in Canada. The Horrors will be supporting Nine Inch Nails at some of the New York shows, Mew meanwhile will provide support in all three cities.

Specific dates are yet to be announced, the first show is all set to take place on August 22nd however, and if you’re a major fan of the band then I’m sure that you’ll be hoping to get along to at least one of the shows.

When the tickets do go on sale they’re sure to sell out fast, and if you’d like to attend any of the shows then you’ll definitely have to get in there quick.

These are sure to be live shows to remember, let’s just hope though that Trent Reznor changes his mind and decides to play plenty more Nine Inch Nails shows in the future.

Ryan Ross and Jon Walker Quit Panic at the Disco

Published by richleigh under Rock Music Edit This

Panic at the Disco LogoPanic at the Disco members Ryan Ross and Jon Walker have officially quit the band in order to concentrate on a new, as yet unnamed, musical project. Walker only joined the band in 2006 as a replacement bassist for Brent Wilson, Ryan Ross was a founding member of the band however, and his decision to quit will hit the band hardest as he was actually the main lyricist.

It’ll be difficult for Panic at the Disco to continue without the creative spark of Ryan Ross; Brendan Urie and Spencer Smith will be sticking at it though, and continuing to perform under the Panic at the Disco name.

A third studio had been in the works with a planned release date of September 2009, quite what will happen now though with regards to a new studio album we’ll just have to wait and see.
