Tommy Reilly’s ‘Gimme A Call’ Enters the Official UK Charts at Number 14
One week ago today, Tommy Reilly won Orange unsignedAct and was therefore signed to A&M Records. This week he has his first taste of chart success as his debut single ‘Gimme A Call’ has hit Number 14 in the Official UK Top 40.
Going from unsigned artist to a charting solo sensation in just one week; Tommy Reilly has accomplished a lot of late, and will no doubt be ecstatic to have entered the charts so highly with his first single.
So what’s next for Tommy Reilly then? Well, as the winner of Orange unsignedAct; Tommy Reilly will be releasing an album at some stage, and we can therefore expect big things to come of the Scottish solo artist in the not too distant future.
I for one just can’t wait to hear a whole album of Tommy Reilly’s music, and very much look forward to the release of his first studio album.
Many congratulations to Tommy Reilly for the success he has had with ‘Gimme A Call’, and here’s to hoping that there are many more Tommy Reilly chart success stories to come.
2009 has the potential to be a life changing year for Tommy Reilly; it’s already been very special, what with him having been signed to a major label, and I’m sure that he’ll now go on to have much success in the music industry, and be a huge name in music for many years to come.
