Kings of Leon move back up the Official UK Charts
Kings of Leon hit number two in the UK charts this week with single ‘Use Somebody’. The track has spent twelve weeks in the UK charts now, and although unable to knock Leona Lewis off the top; it did move up eight places from last week.
Focus was on Britney Spears and whether or not she could have another official UK number one with ‘Womanizer’, her single slipped to fourth however, whilst Kings of Leon climbed spectacularly.
Alexandra Burke’s ‘Hallelujah’ will no doubt occupy the top spot next week, Kings of Leon have done a fantastic job this week in rising so strongly though, and with this huge jump up the charts the band has done rock music proud.
Kings of Leon is currently touring the UK and this would therefore probably explain the single’s sudden rise up the charts. The band will play the final show of the tour at London’s Wembley Arena on December 22nd.
