Dashboard Confessional Cancel UK Tour
Floridian rock band Dashboard Confessional has decided to cancel its UK tour in favour of entering the studio to record a few new tracks to appear on the next album. The band was due to be performing in the UK this December, that’s not happening now though, and apparently it was a case of now or never if the tracks were to feature on the band’s next studio album.
Dashboard’s Chris Carrabba has promised a return to the UK when the album is released; in the mean time though, fans will just have to forget about the prospect of seeing Dashboard Confessional live any time soon.
The new songs were written on the band’s most recent tour of the US, and Dashboard Confessional will now have to perform better than ever when they next return to the UK in order to ensure that fans are not left disappointed, and that this tour cancellation is quickly forgotten.
Best of luck to Dashboard Confessional for recording the new tracks for the next album, and here’s to hoping that Dashboard studio album number six will be the band’s best yet.
