Morrissey’s ‘Years of Refusal’ Album Release Date Confirmed
Morrissey will release his ninth solo album ‘Years of Refusal’ on February 16th 2009. The album is to be released through Polydor/Decca, and will consist of twelve tracks. First single ‘I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris’ will come out the week before on the 9th, Morrissey will not be appearing in the UK to tour however until May 2009.
In May, Morrissey will perform three dates, taking in London’s Royal Albert Hall and twice appearing at Manchester’s Apollo. The following are the tour dates that Morrissey is set to play:
05-11 London, England - Royal Albert Hall
05-22 Manchester, England - Apollo
05-23 Manchester, England – Apollo
The 2006 released ‘Ringleader of the Tormentors’ was the last full studio album of new Morrissey material, the former Smiths front man did however include two new tracks on his ‘Greatest Hits’ album which was released in February 2008.
Morrissey fans will be pleased to hear new material from the man, and with February 16th the release date; there’s not too long to wait now at all.
