Paul McCartney Wants to Release Long Lost Beatles Track

Published by richleigh at 9:30 pm under Rock Music Edit This

Speaking with BBC Radio 4 , Paul McCartney declared that it’s his wish to release the long lost Beatles track ‘Carnival of Light’. The track was recorded in 1967 and has never before been released as a result of its being too ‘adventurous’. It’s a 14 minute epic and McCartney feels that it’s a track the public really ought to hear.

It’s reportedly a weird sounding, out there jam session, and many thought the track to be nothing more than a mere myth. It’s not a myth though, the track really does exist and Paul McCartney feels that now’s the time to unearth it, and get it released for all to hear.

If the track is to be released then Ringo Starr will need to approve of it, and so too will the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison. Whether or not it will indeed emerge remains to be seen, I’m sure there are a lot of Beatles enthusiasts all around the world excited to hear the track however, and many will be hoping that the tracks release is indeed approved.

It’s exciting that this track could be getting released over 40 years on, it’s spent a long time in the vaults, and ‘Carnival of Light’ will hopefully now be given its opportunity to shine.
