When Led Zeppelin tours next year without Robert Plant, the band will not be going under the name of Led Zeppelin. A spokesperson for Jimmy Page’s management company had the following to say about the issue of the tour to Rolling Stone :

Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin. Not without the involvement of Robert Plant.

So there you have it, if you thought it was wrong for the Led Zeppelin name to be kept without the involvement of Robert Plant then you’ve nothing to worry about. The legendary rock name that is Led Zeppelin will not be used, the band will be going by another name and the purity of Led Zeppelin will not be ruined through the involvement of a vocalist other than Robert Plant.

Without Robert Plant there is no Led Zeppelin, so whilst we don’t yet know what name Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Jason Bonham’s touring band will be going under next year; what we do know is that the name will not be Led Zeppelin.

London based rock band Giants Fall is currently in need of a new guitarist. Looking for someone between the age of 18 and 25, the band is seeking out someone that would be able to gig and tour regularly. The band has had over 39,000 profile views on its MySpace page, and for all those that are into rock/metal music this is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of a band which is sure to have a bright future ahead.
