Linkin Park Begins Work on Album Number Four

Linkin Park has begun work recording studio album number four, reports the Rolling Stone . They spoke to Mike Shinoda and he seems excited about the whole recording process; he’s been a busy boy and has been writing a lot of new material which he has stored on his hard drive. He states that the other band members have been creating new music also, so there’s going to be a lot of new music to work with as the band’s six member’s work towards the albums completion.

It’s likely that the album will be released at some stage in 2009, and although the album’s direction is not yet known; it’s bound to be packed full of energy and excitement as is always the case with the music of Linkin Park. The band has made a successful career so far making the music that it does, and with this fourth album the Linkin Park fan base is likely to grow and develop further still. Linkin Park has come a long way since its early nu-metal days, chopping and changing in musical style in order to fit with the times and remaining relevant in the music scene of today. The band has successfully grown and developed, and whilst many nu-metal bands have been left well and truly in the past; Linkin Park is still going strong today and still as popular as ever.

So 2009 is the year we should look out for Linkin Park’s fourth studio album, and given that there are only two months left of 2008; I think now is a good time to start getting excited. Nothing will happen overnight, ideas take time to fully develop; when the new Linkin Park album is finished and ready however, I feel it’s safe to say that we can expect something truly special.
