Reel Big Fish is to tour the UK throughout February 2009. The band has a new album coming out on January 20th and this tour will therefore give the band a chance to promote the new release on the live circuit.

‘Fame, Fortune and Fornication’ is to be the title of the band’s upcoming album which will consist entirely of cover tracks. In the past the band has been commonly known for covering other artist’s material, most notably in 1998 when a Reel Big Fish ‘Take On Me’ cover was featured in the popular ‘BASEketball’ film starring South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

This new Reel Big Fish covers album will consist of ten tracks, and the following are the twelve UK dates that the band is to play:

Reel Big Fish is a band known for its explosive live performances, and at all twelve of these dates there’s sure to be a real party atmosphere. Ska punk is no longer as popular as it once was; Reel Big Fish still does the genre proud however and keeps on rocking that ska punk sound.

Head along to one of these shows and the band may even treat you to a cover track or two, perhaps Slade’s ‘Mama Weer All Crazee Now’ will tickle your fancy, or even Van Morrison’s ‘Brown Eyed Girl’; whatever tracks the band plays, all twelve dates of this tour are bound to be excellent and Reel Big Fish is sure to impress.
